When I decided to go to the International Center for Studies in Creativity in Buffalo, NY to study creativity in 1977 many asked, “You are going where? Do do what? Can’t you study something real?” After earning the master’s degree in Creativity and Change Leadership years later, people were still uncertain of its value. In the 1980’s creativity was a hard sell.
Now there are many facilities worldwide that offer advanced degrees in creativity as well as the ICSC. City University in London Center for Creativity in Professions is among the newest.
This slide presentation presents NESTA’s “Everyday Innovation. How to enhance innovative working in employees and organisations”. It provides research supporting the program launch. Well worth viewing, especially for people who need data to support bringing creativity and creative problem solving training into their organizations.
